2025 Reflection

That was 2025, a year of blessings and disappointments. The Adelaide Crows won the minor premiership but then were knocked out of the finals in straight sets and I have not written a lot, neither have I published anything. This really has been a year of editing, preparing. Though I actively desired and planned to publish at least one story this year, it did not happen, but that does not mean it was a year of sitting on my hands. I have spent a significant amount of time editing, with a little bit of writing on the side.

Regarding 2026, I am working on some projects that I will let you know about when they are ready and I also have a new blog series that will run for the first two- and a-bit months of 2026, which I am excited about.

Romans 12:2 is the scripture that I have felt God give to me recently.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. So that you may test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

I would encourage you to reflect on this verse and as you start 2026, ask God to renew your mind so you can know and do His will.
