An angelic letter with wings.

Day three of the camp, I am not sure how much sleep you got with all the running around the young people did at night but know that they will be quite tired when you try to awake them for 7A.M. breakfast. You might think today there will be more danger for you to dodge, and while that is true, the danger is not for you, but three students who are going to make some stupid choices.

Your first event of the day is the crash event held in the city centre. You will enjoy it, it will be confronting, I have met those that died personally and many of them regret their driving style. The problem will come from a beachball, which bounces it way around the arena. This might seem innocent enough but one boy, Harrison, will overcommit and as he punches the ball, he will tumble down the stairs. This might have been survivable if he did not sit right at the back and the unfortunate bounce of his body means he hits the railing, rolls over it and falls an additional ten metres down on to concrete. To avoid this traumatic event, when the beach ball comes, and it will only come once, punch it away. Harrison will be annoyed, but he will get over it.

The next problem arises at the shopping centre. While the young people have about two hours to shop, you might assume they will be too busy to cause trouble, and if you did assume that you would be wrong. Two girls, Lylah and Lily, will walk into one of the beauty shops and proceed to attempt to steal from it by hiding the goods in their bags. They will be caught and while Lylah will cry (she will admit she stole it), but Lily is not that kind of person. She will accuse the security guard of sexism and try and defiantly leave. The security guard will grab the bag, and she will try to wretch it free. The strength of a teenage girl is nothing compared to a hundred kilo man in his forties. She will pull and her grip will slip. She will stumble back and land in a trolley. This might not have been an issue if the ground was not on a decline. She will ride the trolley for at least a hundred metres until the trolley hits the escalator and she is thrown forward. The sound of horror as the onlookers watch a teenage girl literally fold in half will be heard by you all the way on the other side of the centre. To avoid her death, make your first stop the shop they are going to and when Lily is caught stealing, simply put yourself between her and the trolley. Your presence alone will get her to stop, especially when you threaten to call home. She will be sent home of course, but at least it won’t be in a body bag.

To end the day, you all go bowling and there are two people to watch out for. The first person is Rhys, who will manage to get his head stuck in the hole where the balls return from after being bowled. I won’t describe how horrifying it will be when he, as a joke, puts his head too close to it and then slips forward. When you see him doing this, yell at him, that will stop him. The second is a little more sinister. There will be a stranger who is waiting for you all at the alley, he is young and obviously knows Rose but be careful. He is a shady character and will try to get Rose to leave with him. Unknown to you, he has brought a substance and that substance was cut unclean, so when Rose takes it, she will die. He has every right to be there, but I would recommend you call the police and tell them that he is carrying drugs in his right pant pocket. He will deny it, but when they search him, they will find it and he will be arrested. Rose will be livid, she will curse you and hate you, but that is fine. You saved her life and she will never know it.

P.S. Love says you should buy your wife a gift at the shopping centre, she will appreciate it.
